FAQ
Why is Fox ProWash superior to its competition?
Fox ProWash is superior in many ways to other pressure washing companies in the area. We are licensed and insured. We use top of the line pressure washing equipment. This equipment heats the water up to 200 degrees and provides the proper pressure needed for each application. We use top of the line cleaners that don’t stain or leave streaks to any surface. All of our employees are trained professionals who take pride in their work.
What Are The Black Streaks On My Roof?
Unsightly black stains or streaks on asphalt shingles are caused by a hardy type of algae called Gloeocapsa Magma. The algae feeds on the crushed limestone that is used in asphalt shingles. Rain spreads the algae down the roof causing the black streaks. These streaks are not only unsightly but cause the shingles to fail prematurely by not allowing the shingles to reflect heat properly.
What kind of pressure washing equipment does your company use?
Fox ProWash utilizes the very best equipment in the industry. Our HydroTek Hot/Cold pressure washer dispenses 8.5 gpm allowing us to effectively and efficiently cleaning your property. Hot water is necessary for tough, oily, or gummy jobs and limits our need for chemicals.
Isn’t mold a health problem?
Yes, Mold and mildew around your home create unhealthy conditions for those with allergies and asthma. Our methods of Cleaning will remove mold from homes, trim, gutters, and concrete surfaces. Note: If you have children that play on driveways or walks with mildew growing on them, you should have those areas cleaned.
Are all Power Washing companies alike?
Anyone can purchase a pressure washer. Simply owning a pressure washer and advertising you offer a service doesn’t mean you can operate it and effectively. A pressure washer in the hands of an unskilled operator will do a great deal more harm than good, I have seen decks ruined by too much pressure and harsh chemicals, siding blown off houses, plants and yards killed, windows broken, paint peeled and even concrete cut and etched.
Why can’t you give me a quote over the phone? Others do.
It is difficult to assess the full impact of what is needed to properly clean a property without visual inspection. One homeowner described the need to remove concrete splatters from the brick surface, which in itself is a challenge. Upon a visual inspection, the concrete splatters turned out to be loose mortar chunks and smears. I discussed the appropriate cleaning strategy and process with the property owner. Anyone who provides an estimate over the phone is simply trying to lure you into hiring them at a bargain price with false promises. Unfortunately, this practice happens all too often. Hiring a professional means the difference between a pleasant versus a potentially disastrous experience.
I received a coupon from another Pressure Washing company offering very low prices, are your services more expensive?
Low priced offers, according to the Better Business Bureau, result in the most complaints and unresolved problems reported to the BBB. We take pride in creating long term relationships with our customers.
Can you match another quote?
We provide a written quote, which accurately and fairly represents the scope of the work involved in a true business setting. We are very competitive in our pricing. Our dedication and goal is to achieve full customer satisfaction. Our company is not a fly by night operation as you often see in this type of industry. We adhere to the highest level of professionalism and quality. We do not compete on the basis of price alone as this diminishes our credibility. It is unfortunate but some property owners are driven by the lowest price trap. Quite often, my customers tell me about their unpleasant past pressure washing experience. They confessed to hiring individuals based on price alone and were not happy with the finished product. Individuals offer low cost quotes knowing full well that this will get them the job. Ask them about the chemicals used, insurance, license, cleaning process, and how long the job will take, etc.
